Then he was also able to share the history of Sigtuna to explain the evolution of the area from clans to becoming more centralized and Christian. Lastly, he shared the history of Uppsala and could explain about the people buried there even though after the "viking" period it was connected to Sweden becoming unified. I highly recommend this trip as good combination of walking and history. Plus you are getting outside of Stockholm seeing quaint Sigtuna and the larger Uppsala.”
